The College Prep program is a 2.5-year journey that builds capabilities and supports ambitious and high-performing school students in securing places at prestigious top-tier universities.

 

The program is perfect for you if you're a Grade 10 high school student, committed to strengthening your top university candidacy. You'll be able participate in a combination of summer schools, standardized test preparations, personal development coaching, and admission consulting to help you improve your chances.

 

You will have an immersive and well-rounded experience with the highest level of coaching focused on personal skills development and academic excellence. Throughout the program, you will participate in comprehensive programs that are active, intensive, and experiential. These programs are locally enriched (some with global enrichment components) and challenging, but supported by experts.

Application criteria

Applicants must be:

  • Saudi national
  • Grade 10 high school student
  • Able to demonstrate top-level academic performance in Grade 9 with a GPA equal to or above 90%
  • Able to write and speak English equivalent to:

    • TOEFL iBT score of 65 and above
    • IELTS Academic score of 6 and above
    • Duolingo test score of 100 and above

  • Committed to fully participate in the program
  • Involved or have been involved in at least one extra-curricular activity

June - August 2022 | You'll be supported in finding your way through the entire college and university application process through test preparation classes: TOEFL, IELTS, SAT

Personal development coaching

October 2022 - July 2023 | You'll receive intensive coaching sessions in order to present yourself in the best way possible in front of the university admission committees. The focus is on building your character and helping you set a plan to be a proactive person in society.

Summer experiences

June - August 2023 | You'll receive summer experience at a top university or institute to help prepare you for college life. This will not only teach you new skills and information, it will also enhance your college application and make you a highly desirable candidate. Our list of summer programs covers a wide range of subject areas such as Physics, Math, Engineering, Pre-Med, Community Service, Art and Design, and many more!

Admission coaching

July 2023 - June 2024 | You will receive 1-to-1 training to prepare you for the application and interview process and develop a confident mindset for success. By the end of the program, we aim to have you accepted at a tier-1 university. While Misk Foundation is not affiliated with these schools, the program is designed to improve your chances of admission. We cannot guarantee admission to any university, but you will have an unrivaled opportunity to become a highly desirable candidate.

Frequently asked questions

No, the program aims to build students’ capabilities and character to increase their chances of getting admitted to a tier-1 university. Students are required to search for scholarship providers.

Yes, all costs will be covered by Misk (summer program tuition, travel tickets for the student, housing for the student, online program fees).

The student is excused if they provide a reason that Misk accepts (e.g. health issues). When this is the case, travel will be replaced with an online course as per Misk's decision.

The choice is based on your personal preference. Please feel free to choose to take either TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, or Duolingo as we accept scores from these tests.

Please make sure to take the test as soon as possible to get your results in time for our application submission deadline.

TOEFL iBT: 10 days after your test date.
IELTS Academic: up to 7 days after the computer-delivered test and 13 days after the test date for the paper-based test.
Duolingo: up to 5 days after your test date.

    Sign up to Misk Hub and create your profile

  • Apply

    Select this program and click the apply button

  • Evaluation

    Candidates who meet the program requirements will be invited to take an online psychometric test and attend online interviews (no preparation needed). Candidates will be asked to join a one-to-one online interview to identify the eligible candidates for the next stage.

  • Application confirmation

    Shortlisted candidates will be presented to the Misk Selection Committee for review and final decision. All applicants who submitted a complete application to the Misk College Prep program will be notified of the final decision, either of acceptance or rejection, via email.
