Delivered as part of the Misk Career Essentials Program in collaboration with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, this workshop prepares participants to move confidently from the classroom to the workplace. It looks at the key differences between the two environments: goals, time management, evaluation, and ways of working and learning. Participants will explore the main challenges new employees face and the common mistakes made in the first year. They will also cover the soft skills that matter most for career success: effective communication, emotional intelligence, time and priority management, teamwork, critical thinking, adaptability, and continuous learning.
The workshop also covers work ethics and professional responsibility, and how to build a professional reputation from day one. This includes a practical plan for the first 90 days on the job and habits that strengthen professional presence over the long term. Through interactive activities and real workplace scenarios, participants will apply what they learn on the spot and leave with practical steps to start their careers on a strong footing.
