Compared with older age groups, young people are already disproportionately affected by the educational and labor market disruptions brought about by the pandemic and COVID- 19 has exacerbated these trends. This report sheds outlines how, in the absence of an adequate response, the future economic opportunities for youth could be severely hampered.
