Portas Consulting is the leading management consultancy dedicated to sport and physical activity. We are passionate about pursing an amazing goal by changing the world through sports.

We work with governments, sports bodies and corporates, Portas provides independent advice to senior executives on their most critical, urgent, and complex challenges in most regions of the world. We combine unrivalled expertise in sport and physical activity with blue chip management consulting credentials.

Our projects are wide and varied such as growth, commercial, organisation strategies and governance design plus many others. Recent project examples such as:

Developing strategies for sport federations such as football, tennis, and others
Designing growth and market-entry strategies for investors and private sector operators
Assessing and evaluating impact of major sports events in the kingdom

Program Overview

Throughout the internship you will be provided with a full onboarding programme with training and direct exposure working on client projects. You will be assigned a mentor to support you throughout your journey at Portas Consulting.

Responsibilities:

Undertake research, conduct analysis, draw out insights and synthesize findings
Develop independent sections of client documents and presentations
Contribute to team problem-solving and help develop recommendations
Help prepare and conduct interviews, workshops and meetings with the team and clients
Build productive day-to-day relationships with client team members
Support team planning and process management
Support Portas business development and internal firm-building activities

Application criteria

Saudi National
Bachelor’s or Master’s university students graduating in 2022 or 2023.
Open to students from all majors.
GPA of at least 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4
Fluent in both Arabic and English.
You must be in your penultimate or final year .
Demonstrate a passion for sports and physical activity.
