Program Details

Ranking as the biggest gaming market in the region and the 19th biggest market in the world, the Kingdom continues to witness exponential growth in the gaming sector, creating demand for skilled professionals and opening huge investment opportunities. 

Through a rigorous 14-week online course we aim to make you industry ready in the shortest time possible with the specific goal of getting you prepared for developing your own game or obtaining jobs/ internships in gaming studios worldwide.  

Built around Unreal Engine, you’ll be learning from Unreal Engine Authorized Instructors.  You’ll learn how to work with assets, materials, lights and more; you’ll learn how to program interactivity using blueprints and C++; and most importantly you’ll create a capstone project you can use in your portfolio. 

This program is built for the future of game engines as they expand with new features that the game market needs as well as into new markets like the metaverse, architecture, engineering, construction, automotive, transportation and more.

Program Learning Models:

The program learning model consists of 3 primary parts that all work together:

  1. Training Content: A guided journey of Unreal Engine authorized, pre-recorded training content - proven to teach you the technical skills you need which allows you to work through your day at a pace matching your learning speed. Live
  2. Session Training: The program is are all about interaction between our Unreal Engine Authorized Trainers and you. This takes the form of work-alongs, question and answer sessions, and interactive lectures; designed to keep you engaged and excited, as well as to build community. 
  3. Student Virtual Labs: Students will gather and share their screen at the same time. A teaching assistant is always present to help answer any questions or troubleshoot any problems, but the main purpose of the student lab is for the students to help each other. 

Weekly Schedule:  

Live online sessions and labs via zoom – 10 hours per week: 

  • Monday 7:00PM to 9:30PM (live class) 
  • Tuesday 7:00PM to 9:30PM (lab) 
  • Wednesday 7:00PM to 9:30PM (live class) 
  • Thursday: 7:00PM to 9:30PM (lab) 

Each week will build on the lessons of the previous week; therefore, attendance is mandatory.  

Program Objectives
  • To provide you with hands-on experience with Unreal Engine and its features, tools, and scripting languages. 
  • To make you industry-ready in 14 weeks with the specific outcome of getting students jobs or internships in gaming studios. 
  • To expose you to industry standards and best practices and prepare you for a career in game development.

Program Prerequisites
  • Saudi nationals or individuals whose spouse or mother is Saudi.
  • Some basic experience in 3D software.
  • Some basic experience in 3D modeling.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Pass the admissions process, including the interview.
  • Dedicate at least 20 hours per week to attend live sessions and complete weekly assignments.
  • Age: 15 years and above.
