About Saudi Venture Capital Company (SVC)

SVC is a Government Venture Capital (GVC) established in 2018 by Monshaat as part of the Private Sector Stimulus Program to stimulate venture investments by investing in funds as well as co-investing with angel groups for the primary goal of minimizing equity financing gaps for startups and SMEs by investing SAR 2.8 Billion ($750 Million).

SVC is uniquely positioned to stimulate development of the venture investments industry in Saudi Arabia.

 

Program details

The Misk/SVC Internship program is a unique learning experience providing great insight into the world of Venture Capital Ecosystem in Saudi Arabia.

The program is designed to give aspiring leaders the opportunity to work with one of the best and large VCs in the region. We are looking for ambitious talents looking for an opportunity at the following functions of SVC:

  • Investment
  • Finance
  • Legal
  • Shared services:
    • HR
    • Risk
    • Strategy

Application criteria

  • Undergraduates in their final year of their studies or recent graduates
  • Majors/ degree focus: 
    • Finance
    • Accounting 
    • Law
    • Business administration or related field

  • Minimum GPA of 4.0/5.0 or 3.2/4 
  • Excellent written and verbal command of English
  • Agile in working with a diverse team and willing to learn

Yes, the video is a mandatory part of the application. For more details about how to record your video, please visit our application page for the opportunity that you are applying for.

High school students, college students, fresh graduates and experienced youth can also participate in short-term virtual experiences with minimal human interaction that mimic entry level work offered by top-tiered firms, local SMEs and start-ups.

Currently, the program is running:
Long-term placement programs (e.g., UN JPO program, UNESCO traineeship)
Short-term internship and co-op programs (e.g., IBM, Hyperloop)

The program instils confidence in students as they feel they are on the right path to an impactful career through hands-on experience in prestigious placements.

You can take the test through Duolingo English as an alternative standardized proficiency test. Please note that scores are available after 48 hours from taking the test so take that into account.
